Crook’s Corner is located on Franklin Street just before the West End of Chapel Hill turns into the town of Carrboro. The life-size Pink Pig sculpture and our installation of found hubcaps lets you know you are in the right spot. When you arrive at Crook’s, expect seasonally inspired Southern food served in a casual, cozy dining room wrapped with local art that changes each month.
Our dinner and brunch menus includes Crook’s classics like Hush Puppies, Hoppin’ John and Shrimp & Grits, and also features an evolving selection of seasonal dishes highlighting local ingredients.
Our dessert menu features local favorites like Mt. Airy Chocolate Soufflé Cake, Bill Smith’s Good Banana Pudding, and our iconic Atlantic Beach Pie. We have seasonal plates that come and go like the Chapel Hill harbinger of summer Honeysuckle Sorbet and in the fall, Persimmon Pudding.
The Crook’s Corner bar, with its signature black and white tile, features craft cocktails, wines by the glass, North Carolina beers on tap, terrific sweet iced tea and Counter Culture coffee. A bamboo encircled patio with artist’s Clyde Jones’ critters, centered around a Bob Gaston created garden fountain, is open when the weather permits.
Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays.
